The fickle nature of Holy Week
Paula shot this video on a snowy March day in 2012 - the confusing spring weather of both blossoms trying to push through the ground and a covering of snow inspired her to talk about some of the "confusions" and conflicts that will surface during our remembrances of Christ's walk to the cross during Holy Week.
One day the crowds are yelling Hosanna - a few days later, Crucify Him.
Those he chose, those whom he bends down to wash their feet, desert, betray and deny him.
Take a little look and listen. How might you find encouragement in the murky, mucky, confusion of the transitions of your own life. How might you embrace both the ways that you are tempted to bless God and then curse him two days later? How might you embrace the fickleness of your own humanity?
